$2500 SIGN ON BONUS
The Trailer Technician maintains refrigerated and dry van trailers by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting equipment deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing refrigerated/dry van trailer problems on multiple makes and models of trailers.
 - Maintenance and repairs on multiple makes and models of refrigerated/dry van trailers.
 - Perform preventative maintenance inspections on various makes and models of refrigerated/dry van trailers.
 - Maintain accurate vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
 - Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and policies.
 - Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
 - Abide by all Company yard control safety guidelines.
 - Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 or more year’s related experience working on Class 8 Trailers or active enrollment/completion of Diesel Technician certification.
 - Education: A high school diploma or GED required.
 - Certifications/ Valid CDL Class B or above & PA Class 7 State Inspection License, a plus.
 - Welding/fabrication a plus, but not required.
