Fleet Operations Support
Description
As the Fleet Operations Support, you’ll be the go-to resource for our professional drivers, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and ready to hit the road. You’ll serve as a key link between operations, customer service, and logistics teams supporting our driver’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Welcome drivers at the terminal window with a friendly attitude, providing prompt assistance and creating a positive first impression of the terminal experience.
- Help drivers navigate questions and concerns and escalate issues when needed.
- Communicate clear expectations around safety, compliance, and performance.
- Coordinate driver pick-ups and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Support multiple departments including Brokerage, Customer Service, Breakdown, and Operations based on daily business needs.
- Keep accurate and timely documentation, shift notes, and daily updates.
- Be a friendly face and trusted resource, committed to creating a great employment experience for our drivers.
- Represent and promote NAPA’s Core Values in everything you do.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required just a strong desire to help others and a commitment to achieving the right outcomes. Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Great communicator and active listener
- Organized, adaptable, and cool under pressure
- Takes initiative and follows through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Problem solver with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work onsite at our Mechanicsburg, PA location.
Working Hours
Schedule Options:
Day Shift: 4 days on, followed by 4 days off rotation; 6AM- 6PM
After-hours Shift: 7 days on, followed by 7 days off rotation; 6PM- 6AM.
