Driver Recruiter
Description

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing and engaging Company Drivers and Independent Contractors who align with NAPA’s values and hiring standards. This role goes beyond recruitment—it’s about building relationships, ensuring transparency, and selecting drivers who are the right fit for NAPA’s culture.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively source qualified drivers through cold calling, job boards, ATS, career fairs, networking, and social media.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates aligned with NAPA’s hiring needs.
  • Maintain constant communication with driver candidates, providing status updates and guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Review applications and conduct phone interviews to prequalify drivers.
  • Ensure drivers meet NAPA’s hiring guidelines and DOT requirements.
  • Complete and verify all onboarding requirements, including background checks, MVRs, DAC reports, and employment verifications.
  • Schedule approved drivers for orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate driver records in the ATS system.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed weekly and monthly recruiting goals.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of previous recruiting experience required. (high-volume or driver recruiting preferred)
  • Passionate about building meaningful relationships—you excel at connecting with drivers, understand their goals, and help determine if NAPA is the right long-term fit.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented, with a strong sense of ownership throughout the recruitment process.
