Asset Coordinator
Description
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for managing the company’s fleet and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze equipment idle, sold or repair-needed equipment within the network and coordinate appropriate recovery actions.
- Identify weekly class trucks based on role for the driver, with input from Operations.
- Prioritize equipment repair based on operational needs, ensuring timely visibility of changing demands to the shop.
- Manage the Outservice Tracking Process for assets marked for sale.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance services to maximize equipment lifespan while minimizing costs.
- Review and action toll reports for NAPA assets and Toll -by -Mail charges
- Manage inventories of EpicVue, trailer satellites, and tablets at each terminal to ensure proper allocation and availability.
- Prepare and review Independent Contractor contracts.
- Monitor and address discrepancies between TMT and TMW.
- Oversee tractor dwell, lag and availability and coordinate redistribution of underutilized equipment.
- Monitor fuel purchases to detect potential theft and ensure compliance with purchasing policies, providing weekly compliance updates.
- Escalates unresolved claims or complex issues requiring additional support.
- Perform other responsibilities as determined by business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of industry experience preferred.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED required. Bachelors’ degree preferred
