As an Driver Training Coordinator, you'll play a key role in preparing new drivers for success by delivering engaging training, building strong relationships, and ensuring every new hire begins their career with the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of new driver orientation.
- Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on training programs.
- Adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Build positive relationships with new drivers throughout the onboarding process.
- Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching and feedback.
- Conduct post-training evaluations and assessments.
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and leadership to maintain accurate and up-to-date training materials.
- Research and implement new training tools and best practices.
- Support driver retention initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop individuals with diverse learning styles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and NAPA’s mission and values
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience facilitating training programs in transportation preferred
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
