National Sales Manager

The National Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing existing NAPA’s customer relationships across all modes & regions of NAPA’s business.

  • Interface on routine intervals with assigned existing customers to ensure increased brand presence & the maximum development of opportunities associated with the full breadth of NAPA’s services.
  • Ensure NAPA’s brand & relationship is consistently in good standing across all customer stakeholders (purchasing, operations, site level, etc.).
  • Establish credibility with existing customers through an understanding of their business issues and present logical, economically beneficial solutions.
  • Consistently position NAPA as our customer premier solutions provider. When a customer has an issue the first carrier they think to call is NAPA.
  • Create and provide reporting relevant to account volume, revenue growth, driver job creation, cost, profitability and operational needs.
  • Prepare all necessary documents and communications for QBR and Annual Business Reviews.
  • Provide monthly and/or quarterly reviews both internally and cross functionally with both asset & brokerage leadership.
  • Work with pricing and execution in the preparation of bid strategy documents.
  • Be highly engaged with customer during the pricing process to ensure the best possible outcome for NAPA.
  • Provide recommendations to address network alignment and acceptance metrics.
  • Act as a liaison to effectively communicate scorecard improvement & revenue growth opportunities between customer & NAPA execution teams.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales objectives.
  • Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of transportation experience required. Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
