Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative level assistance for the daily business needs of an assigned region within the Brokerage department.

  • Accurately enter and maintain up to date information on a continuous basis in TMW after the pickup has been completed through final delivery within assigned region or customer.
  • Collect, document and pass on accurate information to/from Carriers/Drivers and our Internal Departments.
  • Provide best in class communication with Drivers & Carriers that aligns with NAPA’s Mission Statement.
  • Document all correspondences, issues and service deviations with carrier/driver and customer representative as they occur or as information is received.
  • Identify accessorial billing opportunities by capturing, validating & recording accurate in/out times at Shipper/Consignee Locations.
  • Follow customer’s accessorial billing reporting procedure.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service & accounts payable requests; responds within 20 minutes of receipt.
  • Scanning, filing and work with accounting to assure all final rate sheets are accurate and upload to assure accurate payments are made.
  • Meet or exceed key performance metrics for tracking tool compliance, loads closed per day & other metrics determined by business needs.
    • Meet or exceed customer and company expectations for Trucker Tools tracking compliance for all loads assigned.
    • Close loads within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery appointment date and time for all loads within the assigned region or customers.
  • Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.
  • No prior experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding & strong commitment to the organization’s mission statement and core values; excellent & effective interpersonal and communication (including but not limited to written, listening, verbal & organizational) skills between teammates, internal departments & directly with customers & drivers; ability to work both collaboratively and independently; professional & approachable presence, empathetic; must be able to build successful relationships.   • Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, company specific software/programs, etc.) & ability to quickly learn computer based applications; strong working knowledge & application of company policy & procedures.
