Facilities Maintenance Associate
Description
At NAPA Transportation, Inc., we keep things moving — and that includes ensuring our facilities are in top shape. We're looking for a hands-on and reliable Facility Maintenance Associate to join our team and help maintain the functionality and safety of our operations at our Mechanicsburg facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Support custodial and truck preparation teams as needed.
- Load/unload materials from tractor trailers using a sit-down forklift.
- Recoup and manage over, short, and damaged loads.
- Assist with vendor and contractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.
- Represent and promote NAPA’s Core Values through daily actions.
- Take on additional tasks as business needs evolve.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
- Use hands for repetitive tasks, gripping, grasping, and twisting.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs independently (heavier loads with assistance).
- Work in varying conditions, including exposure to temperature changes, dust, noise, and moving vehicles.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Forklift certification, a plus but not required.
- Certification in applicable facilities systems preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
