Claims Coordinator (Mechanicsburg, PA)
Description
The Claims Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive event management, ensuring all step actions are captured to minimize adverse exposure and unacceptable risk.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures complete process management of all accident, cargo, and third-party claims
- Collaborates with various internal NAPA Transportation departments, as well as claims adjusters, insurance companies, brokers and third-party administrators
- Maintains comprehensive claims dairy and files, ensures timely updates to same
- Classifies accidents and incidents utilizing ATA Standards for Preventability
- Verifies timely completion of all aspects of accident/incident reporting
- Mitigates risk exposure through proactive event management
- Provides regular updates to senior leadership and safety specialists
- Escalates unresolved claims or needs for support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of extensive administrative experience required.
- A high school diploma or GED required. Bachelors’ degree preferred or commensurate experience.
