The Account Manager is responsible for managing new and established accounts for continued revenue and profit growth for Northeast Logistics. This position ensures all customer service activities such as proactively communicating with both our customers and internal teams, responding to inquiries, scheduling deliveries and appointments, are handled in prompt, courteous, professional, and effective manner.
- Focus on account growth and revenue generation
- Responsibility for scorecard management and identifying drivers to improvement.
- Effectively manages customer relationships and handles escalated situations with customers in a timely and professionally manner.
- Understands NEL’s business needs and makes educated decisions based on those needs.
- Identifies assessorial opportunities through customer contracts.
- Schedules deliveries and appointments with customers in a timely manner.
- Inputs data using excel and other company specific software; ensuring data integrity.
- Refers any unresolved customer issues to upper management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: 3+ years of industry experience preferred.
Education: A high school diploma or GED required. Bachelors’ degree preferred.
