Our History

The story of our name says a lot about us. It comes from the first names of the founders children; Nic, Alexis and Patrick Accomando.  Being family owned and operated since the beginning has been the baseline of our success.  We’re invested in building our family through growth, hard work & supporting each other. We treat our employees like family—because they are.

NAPA Transportation Incorporated is founded. Located on 6430 Baseshore Road, Mechanicsburg PA, NAPA employs 4 drivers and owns 4 trucks.
NAPA has grown to 60 drivers and moves down the street to a larger facility located on 6400 Baseshore Road, Mechanicsburg PA
NAPA has grown to 100 drivers & purchases a 12.5 acre property on 4800 East Trindle Road, Mechanicsburg PA; equipped with in-ground fueling stations, a 4 bay maintenance facility, a 40 door cross-dock warehouse with 8,000 square feet of office space.

NAPA Transportation Inc. purchases North & South Lines, a 90 truck fleet located in Harrisonburg, VA.
NAPA Transportation Inc. purchases the assets of PTI trucking located in Harrisonburg, VA
North East Logistics (NEL) is formed as a Division of NAPA Transportation to provide brokerage & 3PL services to our customers.
NAPA Transportation Inc. purchases the assets of Payne Trucking’s Van Division, a 70 truck fleet located in Fredericksburg, VA. NAPA now employs 275 drivers.
NAPA Transportation Inc. relocates it's Fredericksburg Terminal to Richmond, VA. to more strategically align to our continually growing customer base. NAPA also purchases LC Trucking in Alta Vista and now employs 325 drivers.
NAPA celebrates their 25th Anniversary and employs 340 drivers.
NAPA Transportation, Inc. opens a new terminal location in Columbus, Ohio.
NAPA Transportation, Inc. purchases Penn’s Best, a 85 truck fleet in Tunkhannock, PA
NAPA Transportation, Inc. purchases Kapmeyer Trucking, a 20 truck fleet in Tunkhannock, PA
NAPA Transportation, Inc. purchases Victory Leasing, a 21 truck fleet in Harrisburg, PA.
