Driver FAQ - NAPA Transportation

What is the average miles you can expect to make working at NAPA?

The average OTR driver makes 2000-2200 miles a week working 5-5.5 days a week and is paid weekly.

What is the home time policy?

Drivers are home weekends if they live in our network.

What type of trucks do we have and are they governed?

We have Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo’s.   Our trucks are governed at 65 on the throttle and 68 on cruise control.

Do we have a Pet policy or Passenger rider policy?

Drivers can have a dog that is 25 pounds or less, must have all its shot records up to date, kept on leash and cleaned up after. There is a $250 non-refundable deposit for the dog.

Drivers can have someone ride with them as long as the passenger is over the age of 11 and a parental consent form is signed if the passenger  is a minor.

When and where is orientation?How does NAPA Transportation differ from their competition?

We hold orientation every week Monday through Thursday in Mechanicsburg Pa, we will provide transportation to Mechanicsburg. The driver is put in a room by themselves and we provide lunches during orientation and a meal voucher for dinner. Orientation pay is $500 paid on the first check.

Do we use electronic logs and Qualcomm?

Yes we have electronic logs and have Qualcomm, work flow messaging, in cab scanning, satellite TV and Navigation.
